Both sides look tired after their midweek encounters in the cup and did not seem on top form, and perhaps a draw was a fair result.
The home side were first to show in the 13th minute when Falkirk midfelder David Nicholls' shot from 30 yards out just went over. Six minutes later The Bairns took the lead from a Craig McPherson cross ball which found Darryl Duffy in the box. He passed to Andy Thomson and he converted from close in for his tenth of the season.
Falkirk upped the pace and tried to get another, a chance falling to John O'Neil whose shot was tipped over by Bryn Halliwell.
Duffy came close with a header from close range that the Clyde keeper parried ont o the post, and Nicholls again went near in the 41st minute with a shot across the face of goal.
The visitors' only response in the first half came just before the whistle with a Simon Mensing shot that lacked power.
After the break it was much of the same, and Falkirk's Russell Latapy had a half chance in the 65th minute.
They say that one goal is never enough in football, and so it was against the run of play when Clyde got the equaliser in the 77th minute from a free-kick sent into the box by Darren Sheridan which found the head of Ian Harty , who converted from close in.
Falkirk tried to get the winner, but with games coming thick and fast right now, they didn't have that final punch.
