Falkirk 1-2 Livingston- Match Report

Andreu gets Lions roaring

Anthony Andreu struck in injury time to give Livingston a 2-1 win at Falkirk - the Lions' first league victory of the season.

Andreu beat Michael McGovern with a rising shot from the edge of the box in the second minute of added time.

Livingston played the majority of the second half with 10 men after Paul Watson was sent off in the 49th minute.

Falkirk also finished the match with 10 players after Darren Dods was shown a second yellow card two minutes from time.

Stewart Murdoch put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot in the 34th minute after David Weatherston was fouled by Watson.

The lead lasted just five minutes. McGovern had preserved Falkirk's advantage with a parrying save to thwart Robert Barr but he was beaten shortly afterwards by Callum Fordyce, who converted Andreu's cross from close range.

Livingston were reduced to 10 men when Watson was shown a straight red card following a foul on Andrew Haworth.

They almost took the lead immediately afterwards through Jordan Morton but his header was pushed away by McGovern. At the other end, Andrew McNeil denied Lyle Taylor.

Dods was dismissed for a foul on Marc McNulty in the 88th minute before Andreu won it for Livingston at the death.
