And Showunmi, who was a constant thorn in the Dons defence, thinks the win will give the club a massive lift.
He said: "It was a great performance and it is brilliant to have won here for the first time in over 50 years.
"The win has also taken us off the bottom of the table, which is even better.
"We needed to get that win so hopefully we can push on from here. We have a big game against Kilmarnock coming up next week so it was good to pick up three points and get some confidence ahead of that one.
"They had a brilliant result against Celtic but it is what we do on the pitch that matters."
The former Leeds United striker, who watched Colin Healy bag his first goal for the Bairns with the winner against Aberdeen, cannot wait to open his account for the club.
He added: "Colin said he hasn't hit a shot like that for two years. It was a great goal. I'm still looking for that first goal but I feel it is coming.
"I feel my performances are getting better every game and I'm sure I can get a few goals before the end of the season."
