Falkirk manager Steven Pressley insists he has not set a points target to keep his side in Scotland's top flight. The Bairns are three points adrift at the foot of the Scottish Premier League and a win again St Mirren on Saturday would boost their survival chances.
"Our objective is to try and win as many games as we can," said Pressley.
"The more games you win the more momentum you get. Last week's win has gone and the outlook for tomorrow's match does not change at all."
Falkirk managed a 1-0 victory away to Motherwell in the league last weekend, only their fifth win of the season, but Pressley expects total commitment from his players in every match from now until the end of the season.
We are quite a young squad but what they have shown is a tremendous amount of determination and mental strength

"Whatever the game there should always be 100% application to try and win it," added Pressley.
"Nothing changes in that respect. We have had a good weeks training, we are in a positive spirit and we are certainly looking forward to the game."
For the majority of the season Falkirk have been trailing at the bottom of the table and Pressley says that catching St Mirren them would give the entire squad some encouragement for the run-in.
"It would be a huge boost for the players," said Pressley.
"We are quite a young squad but what they have shown is a tremendous amount of determination and mental strength.
"Being down here at the bottom for almost the entire season is difficult. But we have handled that extremely well - we keep bouncing back after setbacks.
"The one thing that drawing level would do is we would find out how others deal with that.
"To put the pressure on other people would be an interesting aspect."
