Falkirk midfielder Mark Millar sits out the trip to Greenock as he serves the second game of his suspension.
The Bairns, who have won three of their last four games, are nine points behind First Division leaders Raith Rovers but have three matches in hand.
Morton manager Allan Moore: "Dundee was a tough test and we started slowly but came back a lot better in the second half.
"We deserved a draw and will be encouraged by that, however Falkirk will be another tough game.
"They will view this match as an opportunity to close the gap on Raith Rovers and Dunfermline. But we have ambitions of our own at Morton and I will be sending my side out to win."
Falkirk manager Steven Pressley: "There is still a long way to go in this league but obviously a win would send out a real statement of our intentions.
"Both games at our place against Morton have been tight and I don't see this one being any different.
"We gave a strong performance against Cowdenbeath at the weekend and it would be good to add a bit of flair to this one."
