Eddie May's short reign as Falkirk manager is set to come to an end on Thursday after the club announced a press conference at which Press Association Sport understands his departure will be confirmed. The announcement of a 5pm conference at Stirling University followed reports the 42-year-old had resigned in the wake of Wednesday night's 1-0 Clydesdale Bank Premier League defeat to Kilmarnock. That result left the Bairns, who have won only three SPL games since May took charge last summer, three points adrift at the foot of the table.
