St Mirren's Steven Robb has returned to training after a hamstring problem and should be available.
Billy Mehmet will be in the squad after suffering from cramp against Hearts but Craig Dargo (thigh) and David Barron (knee) are both still out.
Falkirk midfielder Ryan Flynn: "We've had confidence throughout but last weekend's win gives you a totally different feeling.
"'Elvis' (manager Stephen Pressley) is always talking about everyone playing with freedom and no fear and that's what we did on Saturday, and the previous few weeks.
"Now it`s about getting the victories. Hopefully that's the start of us going on a run, we've got some momentum from the last four games."
St Mirren midfielder Hugh Murray: "Falkirk got a good result last week and, unfortunately we only managed to get a point, so they have closed the gap to three points. From that point of view, it's a massive game.
"We have another five games after that and there are still a lot of points to play for but you'd have to say this is the biggest game so far.
"It would be good to get the three points and open up a bit of a gap to six points.
"But Falkirk will be looking at it the other way, knowing if they beat us there won't be a gap at all.
"Both teams have got everything to play for."
