Kingsley in contention
Falkirk midfielder Stephen Kingsley has recovered from the nose injury he sustained in the 2-0 win over Dumbarton last weekend and is included in manager Steven Pressley's squad for the visit of leaders Partick.
Jay Fulton is also available with only Craig Sibbald missing due to a hip injury as Falkirk look to extend their unbeaten run to six games.
Technical director Alex Smith said: "It is good we have gone a few games without losing but it was even better we won at Dumbarton after four draws.
"We want to get into the top half of the table and beating Thistle will help us do that but we know it will not be easy."
Partick manager Jackie McNamara has selection problems of the right kind.
Experienced pair Hugh Murray and captain Alan Archibald are back in contention following suspension and injury respectively.
But they could both miss out as the Jags racked up a 7-0 win over Airdrie in their absence.
However, the fitness test results of Aaron Muirhead and Steven Craig will help shape McNamara's team.
The Firhill chief said: "We made a positive start to the season with a win over Falkirk and it would be great to start the second round of games in the same way.
"The boys played really well last weekend and we'll need to hit those heights again as Falkirk have not lost in a while."
