Duffie boost for Falkirk
Falkirk welcome back defender Kieran Duffie from the head and ankle injuries he sustained playing for Scotland's Under-21 side when they entertain derby rivals Dunfermline.
The Bairns have Craig Sibbald available after an ankle knock and Connor McGrandles has recovered from the leg injury he picked up in last Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Cowdenbeath.
Technical director Alex Smith said: "We lost 4-1 and then Dunfermline went down 4-2 at Cowdenbeath in midweek so both sides are smarting and looking to bounce back.
"We started well at Central Park but moved from a winning position to being behind very quickly. That has happened a few times and has to stop. This game will be won by the team that want it the most."
Shaun Byrne and Chris Kane will not travel with the Dunfermline squad due to the ankle injuries they sustained in Tuesday night's 4-2 defeat from Cowdenbeath.
The Pars' resources are stretched with Andy Geggan and Andy Barrowman already missing due to ankle knocks and Stephen Jordan also sidelined due to a thigh problem.
Assistant manager Gerry McCabe said: "It was a disappointing result and a disappointing performance against Cowdenbeath but we have to get on with things and we now have the chance to quickly bounce back.
"The Falkirk game is a big one and winning it would make up in part for Tuesday. If we are to win it we have to be a lot sharper than we were in midweek."
