Falkirk aim to leapfrog Dundee
Summer signing David McCracken is the only absentee when Falkirk host Dundee as the defender is short of match practice after six months out with a leg injury.
Gary Holt's fourth-placed side are looking to bounce back after going down to a last-minute goal at Cowdenbeath last Saturday, with technical director Alex Smith delighted to be coming up against the team who have climbed into second spot in the Championship.
Smith said: "Losing was disappointing but having a game against a good side in front of a good crowd means that there is no time to feel sorry for ourselves.
"We have to go out and win the points back."
Dundee will be without the attacking threat of Leighton MacIntosh and Jamie Reid as both players are still struggling with ankle injuries.
Steven Doris and Carlo Monti staked their claims for starting roles by scoring in a midweek reserve game as the Dark Blues look to build on a strong defensive showing so far this term.
Assistant manager Ray Farningham said: "We kept a clean sheet against the league leaders Hamilton last weekend and we have been strong at the back for most of the season.
"We are now looking to be more creative and score a few more goals, although that will be easier to say than do against a useful Falkirk side."
