Falkirk midfielder Vitor Lima could return against Motherwell on 3 April after scans showed his knee injury was far less severe than first feared.Lima was carried off in the 2-2 draw against Hamilton on Saturday and will miss this weekend's clash with Hibs.
But the 28-year-old will not miss much of Falkirk's relegation battle.
"You know what you are getting every week with Vitor Lima and I'm delighted the news came back very positive on the scan," said manager Steven Pressley.
Falkirk followed up their draw with Hamilton by coming from behind to claim a point again at St Johnstone on Tuesday and Pressley is optimistic his team can go one better against Hibs.
"I talk a lot about the mentality and I see an improvement in the mentality," Pressley added.
"We went behind at Hamilton, a difficult place and bounced back. We had that mentality on Tuesday night where I just could not see us losing the game, I really couldn't, and we seem to be developing all the time.
"We just need to go that step further and win games and I believe we're really close to that.
"I see us not going under when the going gets tough, I see a real mental strength building up in the club."
