Stalemate between Accies and Bairns
Hamilton and Falkirk both missed the chances to take advantage of leaders Dundee's shock defeat as they played out a goalless draw.
The second-placed visitors came into this clash looking to extend their lead over third-placed Falkirk to eight points and they had chances early on but Alister Crawford, Grant Gillespie and James Keatings all failed to test goalkeeper Michael McGovern.
With 41 minutes on the clock the Bairns had Will Vaulks to thank for keeping the score level when he cleared Mickael Antoine-Curier's shot off the line.
And two minutes after the break Antoine-Curier missed a huge chance to hand the Accies the lead when he headed Crawford's ball past the post when very well placed.
Both teams lacked the cutting edge to break the deadlock with a number of half chances and had to settle for a point.
