Falkirk need to win to secure a second successive last-day escape from the drop from the SPL.
Pressley insisted it was not a situation he had been hoping for despite Falkirk being bottom of the table for all but a week since early September.
But he claims he and his players will relish the challenge.
"I would much rather have been in a situation where we are safe and planning for next season," Pressley said.
"But we find ourselves in this situation and we are definitely excited by it, we're looking forward to the game.
"I have spoken all along about positive attitudes but one of the biggest things that will decide the outcome of Saturday's game is who can handle the fear aspect of it better.
"Sometimes fear can be your biggest enemy. I think if you can handle that and play with no fear, you will go on and win the game."
Killie ensured they would go into the game just needing a draw when they came from behind at Aberdeen on Wednesday to secure only their second victory in 13 games.
Match-winner Kevin Kyle said: "The win over Aberdeen gives everyone confidence that we can win as it had been a while since our last victory."
At the other end of the bottom six, Hamilton travel to Perth looking to leapfrog St Johnstone into seventh place and midfielder James McArthur believes that would be an ideal send-off ahead of his likely summer move.
The 22-year-old, who has attracted interest from Wigan, said: "That would be the perfect way. Even eighth place - if we don't get the seventh - is a remarkable achievement.
"It just shows you where the drive is in our team, from the chairman right down to the players."
Elsewhere tomorrow, Aberdeen will close a disappointing season against St Mirren in Paisley in a match that is sure to herald the end of several players' Dons careers as manager Mark McGhee prepares for a major revamp of his squad.
Skipper Mark Kerr could be one of the players bidding farewell but he revealed he had not closed the door on his Pittodrie career.
The midfielder told RedTV: "I spoke to the club in January and once more since then. I never said I wouldn't sign, I may have said it wouldn't have been right for me to sign with the offer that was made.
"Hopefully, I can sit down with the gaffer and make things a bit clearer, although I have tried to make it as clear as possible what it would take for me to sign.
"If that was possible, I would be happy to come back, recreate the good times and get us as high as possible in the league."
The top six complete their SPL season on Sunday and Hibs are looking to finally leapfrog Motherwell for the guaranteed Europa League place after losing a four-goal lead in Wednesday's 6-6 draw at Fir Park.
Colin Nish, who scored a hat-trick against Motherwell, is eager to bounce back when Hibs face Dundee United as their rivals take on Rangers.
"We are all gutted with the result, but we are determined to put it right on Sunday," the striker said.
"Hopefully Rangers can do us a wee favour at Ibrox, but we have to do ourselves a favour by winning at Tannadice."
