Allan Ferguson, Darren Hill and Pedro Moutinho have signed one year extensions to their current deals with the Bairns.
Head Coach John Hughes commented, “I’m delighted with the news on all three players. Allan Ferguson has shown over the last three years at Falkirk that he is a highly capable goalkeeper, and will have no problems making the step up to SPL football. He’s been consistent in his performances, and he’s very experienced. I’m also extremely pleased at Darren Hill deciding to stay at the Club, as he really has improved substantially over the past two years. He’s learning from one of the best, and that’s quite apparent in his performances when he’s called upon.”
Yogi reckons the popular Portuguese player Pedro Moutinho will be a force to be reckoned with next season, “Pedro was understandably frustrated at missing the second half of the season. An injury like that could have kept a lesser man out for much longer, but the lad has such an excellent attitude that he’s well ahead of schedule with his rehabilitation. He’s raring to go, and will start pre-season training with the rest of the squad in July.”
