Let's hope The Bairns become men in Europe.

Here we go. Falkirk's very first foray into Europe. Okay, the opposition might not be Real Madrid or AC Milan, but you can bet that for all those involved in the club the tie against Liechtenstein outfit FC Vaduz will mean just as much.
Scottish clubs have had a poor record in Europe recently, with the Old Firm's trips to the UEFA Cup Finals being notable exceptions. Our sides seem to contain the prowess of the lightweight drinker in the boozer who is unable to make it past the first round without falling over. Let's hope it is going to be different.
Vaduz coach, legendary German midfielder Pierre Littbaraski, has a good record over Scottish clubs, and he is looking to make it five wins out of five against The Bairns. We have lost a lot of players during the summer and we have a new coach in Eddie May who is looking to change the clubs style of play to try and win more games. The players themselves, with the likes of Scott Arfield citing Steven Gerrard as an inspiration in the middle of the park, are getting ready to step up to the plate and do the side proud.
A debate exists that only winners should be aloud to play in Europe, with our own Burton O'Brien admitting this. Whatever way we got there, let's try and get as far as we can, make a name for ourselves for all the right reason and enjoy ourselves.
We might not have won the right to be there, but it does not mean we cannot be winners!
