Finnigan to be main striker next season.

Carl Finnigan finally put pen to paper to stay at Falkirk for another year, with Eddie May insisting the striker will be his number one hitman next season.

Finnigan was plagued by injuries but Bairns gaffer May is hoping that if he stays full fit he can do a job for Falkirk. He also insists that with Carl being a confidence player that the fans will give him the backing that will help him on his way.

With May putting his faith in Finnigan, it looks as if the Bairns will not be signing Damon Gray. The former Hibs striker, a hit on loan at Partick Thistle, will now sign for St Mirren.
