Falkirk are celebrating two of their players picking up Bell’s Monthly awards.
Russell Latapy picked up the Bell’s Monthly award for April, with Ryan McStay picking up the young player of the month award.Ryan is a graduate from the Falkirk Youth Development scheme and he looks to have a massive future in the game.
Falkirk already have extended his contract for next season and Ryan scored the goal which tied up the league for the Bairns.
Ian McDonald, the Bells Sponsorship Manager said: “Russell and Ryan have done a tremendous job this season, and have both been major players in Falkirk’s return to the Premier League.”
John Hughes who accepted the award on behalf of Russell Latapy was delighted and said: “Everyone knows the talent Russell has, he is an incredible player with fantastic natural ability. Ryan is very similar to Russell in that his natural skill is there for all to see. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Russell. It’s a great achievement for both players and I’m delighted for them.
